"On finishing my leaving cert I went on to study a BSc In Sports Science and Health in IT Tallaght. After I completed my degree I did the ITEC Personal Trainer course with Sprint College in Gorey in 2014 in order to gain the practical knowledge, skills and qualification necessary to work within the fitness industry. On completion of this course I secured employment immediately with a leading personal training company in Gorey, The Fitness Tailor. This was a great start to my career as a personal trainer. In 2018 I decided to return to Sprint College to study Pilates and to become a qualified Pilates Instructor. This course suited me perfectly as it was just one day per week. Upon completion of this course I had the confidence and knowledge, and started teaching Pilates classes straight away.
In January 2019, I made the decision to follow my dream and took the plunge and started my own business, LB Health, Fitness & Wellbeing in County Wexford. I suppose I was one of the lucky people, I knew what I wanted to do when I left school, because of my passion for Gaelic football and soccer, I knew that fitness was the career path I should take.
In recent days, I have found out that my Circuit Training Class has got to one of the top 10 circuit's classes in the Irish Fitness Industry Awards.
I would highly recommend the courses at Sprint College. The tutors are excellent, and no stone is left unturned. They were always there to help. "

Patrick Has To Say About Sprint College: “Firstly, Shane’s professionalism is
second to none, there is no question that ever went unanswered in any of our
classes. I found the entire course great but the best part was having Shane as
our tutor, everything was really explained in ways that were easy to learn. We
were very well prepared for our exams, and really had the confidence going into
them that we would all pass. I also completed a Spin Instructor and Strength
& Conditioning course with Sprint College after I got my PT course and
found these courses to be full of information, great enthusiasm, and really
enjoyable. I highly recommend any of the training courses at Sprint College. A
huge thanks also to them for all their help in getting me set up as a Personal
Trainer.”
